A free website SEO checkup reads one page the way a search engine does and tells you, in plain words, what is fine and what holds the page back. Paste an address, wait about 15 seconds, and you get a score out of 100, the problems sorted by how much they matter, and a short fix for each one. Nothing about your site is saved on our server.
What the checkup looks at
The tool loads your page from our server and also opens the small files around it. That is how it can see things a quick look in the browser misses.
- Common SEO: title, meta description, a Google preview, social tags, headings, your most used words, robots.txt, sitemap, image alt text, favicon and charset.
- Speed: HTML size, compression, server response time, the number of files, page size, modern image formats, scripts that block the first paint, minified files and browser caching.
- Server and security: HTTPS, the SSL certificate, the http to https redirect, www and non-www, HTTP/2, HSTS, security headers and mixed content.
- Mobile: the viewport tag, responsive CSS and whether visitors can zoom.
- Advanced: structured data, a real 404 for missing pages, noindex, canonical, robots.txt rules, meta refresh, SPF and ads.txt.
Your PageRank sits at the top next to the score, so you can see your link strength and your on-page health in one place.
How to read your website SEO checkup score
Every check is passed, a warning or failed. Each one also has a weight: a missing title or a noindex tag hurts far more than a missing security header, so it counts three times as much. The score is the share of those weighted points your page earns.
- 90 to 100: the basics are in place. Spend your time on content and links.
- 70 to 89: a few fixes left. Start with the HIGH items in "Fix these first".
- Below 70: something important is missing, often the title, the description or HTTPS.
A high score does not promise rankings. It means nothing on the page is stopping Google from understanding it. I learned this the slow way: many of my old pages stayed unindexed for years even though they passed every basic check. The checkup clears the technical doubts so you can look at the real cause.
What one page cannot tell you
The checkup reads a single page, not your whole site. It cannot list every backlink, show the searches you rank for, or crawl hundreds of pages. Those need a large link index and a crawler. For that kind of work you need a paid SEO suite. If the report shows a link to one, it is marked as sponsored, and it never changes your score.
For daily work, Google Search Console is still the best free source. It shows which pages are indexed and which searches bring clicks. Run the checkup when you publish a new page or change your theme, then confirm the result in Search Console a few days later.
Privacy and limits
We do not store the address you check or the result. Your browser keeps the last results for 24 hours, so the report opens again at once if you come back. "Copy report link" gives an address that runs the same check for anyone you send it to.
Each check sends about fifteen small requests to the checked site, so there is a limit per visitor each hour. If you reach it, your earlier results are still in your browser.
Start with your home page, then check your most visited article. A free website SEO checkup on those two pages usually finds most of the fixes that matter for the whole site.
Frequently asked questions
Is this website SEO checkup really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit on what you see in the report. The only limit is the number of checks per hour, which keeps the tool fast for everyone.
Why does my score differ from other SEO checkers?
Every tool picks its own checks and weights. Look at the items marked failed rather than the number. If two tools flag the same problem, fix that first.
Does the checkup look at my whole website?
No, it reads one page plus your robots.txt, sitemap and server settings. Site-wide settings like HTTPS or compression usually apply to every page, so one check still tells you a lot. Check other important pages one by one.
