Run a web directory, a bookmarking or classifieds site, or another resource that webmasters use? Or did you build an AI tool or an SEO tool for bloggers? This is the one place to submit your business and products to Bloghints. Pick what you are sending at the top of the page: websites go into our webmaster lists, tools go into SEO Tools or AI Tools. Every submission is opened and checked by hand before it is listed.

Hand checking is how Bloghints started. It began in 2006 as a web directory, and almost 1,000 sites were checked and listed one by one before it became a blog with webmaster lists. The lists still work the same way: nothing is copied from other lists, and every link is tested before it goes live.

What you can submit

  • Websites for the webmaster lists: web directories, social bookmarking, article, classified and local business directories, forums and other resources that fit one of our lists. The category menu in the form shows which lists exist.
  • AI tools and SEO tools: products a blogger or webmaster can sign up for and use today. Choose "An AI or SEO tool" at the top, then pick SEO Tools or AI Tools and the closest category.

Ordinary company or personal websites that are not a resource for webmasters are not listed; there is no list they would fit.

What we accept

  • Sites and tools that work when we open them, with real listings or real features.
  • Clear rules or terms, and a way to contact the owner.
  • Free and paid services, as long as visitors can see what they get before they pay.

We decline parked or unfinished sites, link farms that approve everything, tools that only resell another tool or promise rankings, and adult, gambling or illegal content. Our page on what makes a good web directory explains what we look for in a directory.

How the hand check works

For a website, we open it, check that it loads, look at a few categories and listings, and read the rules page. If it fits, it goes into the right list with its name and IP address. For a tool, we open it, use the free plan or trial where there is one, and check that it does what the description says. If a site or tool is already listed or waiting in the queue, the form tells you, so there is no need to send it twice.

A free listing is checked in the normal queue. Websites in the lists link with rel="nofollow"; tools sent in by their makers link with rel="ugc nofollow". An Express listing is checked first and stays listed for good after one payment. A Featured listing sits at the top of its list or tool section, marked with a star. Paid links are always marked: rel="sponsored" in the webmaster lists, rel="ugc sponsored" for tools. Paying buys a place, never an approval: it still has to pass the same hand check. See the listing options at the top of this page for what is open right now.

When you submit, your email address is also added to our occasional Webmaster Lists email about new lists and articles. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and our privacy policy explains what we keep.

How to submit your website

Fill in the site name, URL, your email, the closest category and a short, plain description, then answer the security question. Before you send it, make sure the site is online and its own submit page works. Submitting a product instead? Choose "An AI or SEO tool" at the top of this page; the tool form asks for the section, category and pricing type.

Listing type for the Webmaster Lists

By submitting you agree to receive occasional emails about new lists from Bloghints.com. You can unsubscribe at any time. Paid listings are checked by hand before they go live; if we can't accept yours, we refund you in full.

Frequently asked questions

Can I submit my business website here?

Yes, if your business runs a resource that fits one of our lists, such as a directory, a bookmarking or classifieds site, or a local business directory, or if it makes an AI or SEO tool. A company website that is not a resource for webmasters has no list to go into, so it is not listed.

How long does the hand check take?

It depends on how many submissions are waiting. Every site and tool is checked by hand, one at a time. Please do not send the same site or tool again while it is pending.

Why was my site or tool not added?

The most common reasons are a site that did not load when we checked, spam listings, missing rules or contact details, a tool that did not do what its description said, or a topic none of our lists or tool sections cover. You are welcome to submit again once the problem is fixed.
